| Bunny Love, Watercolors |

A collegue asked me to paint a bunny, so here it is, fresh off the bunny mill! Communicating peacefully with the butterfly, the leaves, the grass, and the whole nature...Greeting card, watercolors.Labels: Greeting Cards, Watercolors |

I am slowly progressing with this one. This greeting card will be included in my 'GIVE ME FIVE' series. I haven't been posting much lately, but that's not because I haven't been drawing -- in fact, my Aquarello pad is almost filled, and there are many interesting developments for me on the horizon!!! The media I explored this month: charcoal and oils -- no time for experiments right now. Labels: Greeting Cards |

Here's a greeting card I did in acrylics...with no prior "acrylic" experience. It was fine, only I would get "plastic blobs" sometimes, because the paint does dry too fast...I found out, they now have solved this and released a new brand of acrylics that don't dry immediately -- called Chroma Interactive Acrylics, they give you time to work and blend wet-to-wet. That said, I've had no trouble blending with regular acrylics, just think that this media, like any other, takes getting used to. Also, forget about brillancy of oils, they are not as alive as oils, but again, are quite acceptable for illustration.Labels: Greeting Cards |
